When a new year starts, many of us set goals and resolutions to be healthier and more active. You may have decided to exercise more or eat cleaner this year. At CityPlace, we want to help you with your health and fitness goals. That is why we offer multiple ways to be active with different fitness classes as well as healthy eating options. You can even connect to the physical and spiritual through the various yoga classes provided in West Palm Beach. Check out some of your options for being healthier and more active at CityPlace below.

Yoga at the Culture Lab

Yoga is becoming a very popular activity as it offers participants numerous benefits. Not only does this practice improve your flexibility, but it also builds muscle strength, improves bone health, reduces blood pressure, and releases tension. These benefits of yoga make it an excellent choice for attaining your goal of being more active in 2019.

If you are interested in trying out yoga this year, you can head over to the Culture Lab every Saturday from 9 am to 10 am. Yoga at the Culture Lab is open to the public and features yoga instructor Shelly as she takes you through a 60-minute vinyasa yoga class. This class is not only a great way to be introduced to yoga but is also unique because it takes place in the luggage chapel of the Culture Lab, which means you are surrounded by Stephen Vitello’s sound installation You Are the Magic.

To participate in Yoga at the Culture Lab, you do have to bring your own yoga mat, and a $10 donation is suggested. This is a great way to try yoga without any commitments.
