Art Shaping Communities Panel Discussion

Join Rosemary Square on the lawn on May 8th at 9:30AM for a discussion between leaders of South Florida's arts scene and premier cultural institutions highlighting the power of arts & culture in shaping communities. 

Participants include: 

  • Moderator: Gopal Rajegowda, Partner of Related Southeast
  • Panelist: Sarah Gavlak, Owner of Gavlak Gallery & Founder of New Wave 
  • Panelist: Franklin Sirmans, Director of Perez Art Museum Miami
  • Panelist: Sybille Welter, Administrator of Public Art & Culture for the City of West Palm Beach
  • Panelist: Ghislain d’Humières, Director & CEO of Norton Museum of Art

Enjoy a brief performance by the students of Faith's Place Center for Arts & Education post panel and stop by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s table to learn more about “MOSAIC,” which is an acronym for “Month of Shows, Art, Ideas and Culture.” This special annual campaign for visitors and residents runs throughout the month of May and includes deals and discounts at arts and cultural venues, as well as hotel offers across Palm Beach County.
