Books and Music Festival

In collaboration with the City of West Palm Beach Library, we are celebrating the first BAM Festival at Rosemary Square on Saturday, March 7. Enjoy an entire day of story readings by the authors themselves under The Wishing Tree.

10AM Storytime with Angela Dominguez:
Join author/illustrator (and two-time Pura Belpre honor winner) Angela Dominguez and read some stories about having little llamas instead of lambs! And you might just learn a little Spanish too!

Ready for some stories of daring ladies that beat cowboys and magic soups from Haiti? Come listen to Tami Charles share some truly adventurous and flavorful tales!

Superheroes Are Everywhere! Don’t believe us? Well, sit down with author/illustrator Mechal Roe, and she’ll teach you how to spot them.

The gorgeous artwork from the books illustrated by Gordon C. James  capture the hearts of their heroes. Hear stories about the first African-American catcher in the major leagues, a black cowboy that wouldn’t quit, and boys with fresh cuts straight out of the barbershop.
