The Regional Art Space: Henriett Michel

The Regional Art Space is a rotating local artist gallery in the Public House that showcases a different local artist each month to take over the space and display their work.

The featured artist this February is Henriett “Anri” Michel, an emerging artist working primarily in oils on canvas and sculpture. Her art is largely intuitive, reacting to the piece as it develops. Her color harmonies and formal logic verge on chaos and disaster, but she harnesses these primal energies successfully to create visually engaging, vivid works.
